In 2020 things changed dramatically and all of a sudden we as an agency had to pivot from more traditional methods of content creation to a remote form. I along with Amanda Duke, a producer at CM were tasked with figuring out the best way to capture interviews remotely. The challenge of reliably capturing good content through the internet was quite the hurdle but after much research and testing I along with Amanda created a methodology that allowed us to have four levels of backup in case of technical issues, have additional camera angles with minimal effort from the talent and high quality audio without having to send audio equipment. The first real application of this methodology was this video which was a huge success for us and laid the ground work for us to continue to build upon and record many, many more like this.
